Spiritual professions are understood to be vocations whose duties must:
- Mainly relate with a conventional spiritual function;
- Be seen as an occupation that is religious the denomination; and
- Be mainly pertaining to, and clearly include, inculcating or holding out of the spiritual creed and philosophy for the denomination.
